On the tables of the technicians of the Department of the Environment there are 264 procedures of ministerial competence, on which the Region can only give an opinion and around 30 of regional competence (for which an environmental impact assessment is required by the department) . There was talk of the invasion of wind and photovoltaic energy in Sardinia today in the joint session of the "Productive Activities" and "Territorial Government" Commissions of the regional council. The data was provided by the Environment Councilor Marco Porcu.

At the end of the meeting, given the numbers and evaluating the increasingly pressing popular opposition, the idea was proposed of arriving at a unitary proposal to stem the assault of renewable energy multinationals on the Sardinian territory. Still to be defined is whether it will take place through a request for a moratorium contained in a proposed law or with a political action by the Government and Council to be made explicit in the State-Regions Conference.

According to the councilor , the moratorium hypothesis, contained in the bill presented by the opposition, should also be extended to the evaluation phase as well as the authorization phase: "This risks losing its effectiveness".

For councilor Anita Pili, although in favor of a moratorium proposal, the most effective way to follow would instead be that of strong action against the proliferation of renewable energy plants at the State-Regions Conference: «The decree law on the areas suitable is awaiting definition", said Pili, "for now no Region has expressed a favorable opinion. the provision can only be issued if there is an agreement between the State and the Regions. It is here that Sardinia can assert its reasons with a joint action carried out by the Council and Council. It must be taken into account that the moratorium proposals presented so far, such as that of Friuli, have been challenged before the Constitutional Court."

In the subsequent debate, councilors Walter Piscedda (Pd), Laura Caddeo (Rossoverdi), Alessandro Solinas (M5S), Francesco Agus (Progressives) and Michele Ennas (Lega) intervened and all agreed on the need to develop an initiative, albeit in different ways, which leads to effective action towards the Ministry. The hypothesis on the table is that of a unitary proposal that gives more strength to Sardinia's initiative.
