Wanted for five months, a 36-year-old from Dolianova was captured: he must serve 5 years in prison

After a five-month search , the 36-year-old from Dolianova was captured at dawn this morning after he had gone untraceable, escaping the atonement of a total sentence of 5 years' imprisonment.
The man was convicted of a flurry of thefts committed in March 2020 in Serrenti, in August 2013 and in March 2019 in Sestu, and for a case of receiving stolen goods in Dolianova dating back to 2013.
Knowing he had to serve his sentence, he had gone into hiding and the arresting section of the Carabinieri of Cagliari had set out on his trail . In recent days some military suspicions have been confirmed and the 36-year-old was traced to the home of an elderly relative . Once the arrest was triggered, the man was accompanied to the Uta prison.
