Flooding and damage in the countryside of Villasor , due to the heavy rain that has hit the area in the last few hours.

The flooding of the riu Nou has caused damage to farms and in particular to a land with artichoke plants completely flooded. A family of three whose home was completely flooded was rescued . The family will receive assistance and support until the situation returns to normal.

Farmers' production is at risk , with the mayor Massimo Pinna specifying: « We cannot establish the extent of the damage , we will evaluate during the day and tomorrow morning to understand what happened»:

Firefighters, barracelli, civil protection and carabinieri worked all night to assist people in difficulty in the countryside and sheepfolds.

Gianluca Floris , owner of a farm between Villacidro and Villasor, speaks of "dozens of dead sheep, overwhelmed by the fury of the waters".
