Villasimius, war on illegal campers: 200 euro fine for a family of French tourists

The fight against illegal campers in Villasimius continues with fines.

The latest episode yesterday afternoon: a family of French tourists was caught camping on board a camper in Porto Giunco, among parked cars. Inside the camper there was - among other things - a real pantry. The owner was fined 250 euros.

The operations were coordinated by the commander of the local police Pier Luigi Casu.

Numerous fines were issued against campers during the summer season, mostly against French tourists. The justification is almost always the same, that is, there were no signs indicating the prohibition of camping.
