Only silence and respect for Mattia Miscali and his family. An unreal silence, a crowd moved for the last farewell to the young life cut short on the asphalt . For today, in conjunction with the boy's funeral , the mayor of Villagrande, Alessio Seoni, has proclaimed city mourning . From the altar of the church of Villanova Strisaili, dedicated to San Michele Arcangelo, Father Mauro Isacchi, with whom Don Ernest Beroby concelebrated, addressed the young man's family, his father Marco, his two younger brothers and, in particular mother, Roberta Cocco. In the homily he proposed a reflection starting from the parable from the Gospel of Luke which tells of Jesus' passage to Nain and the resurrection of the only son of a widow. " Don't throw your tears of pain in the mud, but give them to someone to transform them into tears of hope ", were some of the words uttered by Father Mauro. At the end of the mass, a long procession accompanied the transfer of the coffin to the cemetery of the hamlet, with the condolence rite continuing for two hours and ending when it was already dark.
