A 43-year-old Neapolitan was denounced on the loose by the carabinieri following an aggravated scam of which a 54-year-old from Villacidro was the victim.

The suspect, also accused of substitution of person, had managed to stipulate, without the Sardinian's knowledge and in his name, a contract for the supply of electricity for the company of the scammed person, and the latter understood what happened in the moment in which an invoice was delivered without ever having signed the agreement. However, he obtained a copy of the contract and ascertained that his signature had been grossly forged.

From the investigations carried out by the military, it emerged that the supplier company had subcontracted the search for new contractors for the supply of electricity to a company in Naples and that some broker attributable to the person reported, therefore he or one of his collaborators, had not deemed necessary the consent of the interested party to create a non-existent contract and send him a bogus bill.
