Ghibli Street Murder, New Lead: Spouses Suffocated with Pillows
The investigation into the deaths of Luigi Gulisano and Marisa Dessì continues. The poison is perhaps a false trail to try to mislead investigators. Their son Claudio remains in prison

New hypothesis on the double homicide in via Ghibli in Cagliari.
Luigi Gulisano and his wife Marisa Dessì , aged 79 and 82, may have been suffocated with pillows . If so, the sodium nitrite poisoning may have been only simulated, in an attempt to create the false impression of mushroom poisoning.
This is the theory that will be explored further by investigators after the latest tests conducted by the Carabinieri of the RIS.
Claudio Gulisano, 44 , the couple's youngest son, ended up in prison for the crime.
