«For the Sardinian school there was a commitment that had never been made before, with investments of 502 million euros».

This was underlined by the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, on the sidelines of the visit to the Sebastiano Satta middle school in Alghero , where he met the director of the regional school office, Francesco Feliziani, the head teacher Paola Masala, the teachers, students, non-teaching staff and principals of other city schools.

«We have allocated 320 million euros for school construction on the island alone, largely identified with the Budget from national funds», remarked Valditara.

«With the Agenda Sud project we will bring more teachers, more managers and innovative teaching to Sardinia, for a school in dialogue and open to the territory - he then added - we are betting on scientific subjects and training that is decisive for territorial development, starting from technical-professional education which is fundamental for companies that invest or operate in Sardinia to have qualified manpower available to use in the area".
