He bit two prison police officers who were trying to calm him down and get him into his cell . It happened in Uta prison .

This was reported by Luca Fais, secretary of Sappe , the independent prison police union. At the center of the story was a prisoner of Nigerian origin who «took advantage of his physical size to create disorder and, when he was moved to another department, he physically threw himself at the policemen: one was bitten on the hand while the other on a flank". According to the trade unionist, these episodes in the «Cagliari-Uta prison are increasingly frequent and we must try to find a remedy».

«For some time - adds Fais - the Sappe has been highlighting the problems that afflict the police inside the penitentiaries but the results are slow in arriving and in the meantime the Cagliari prison has the highest percentage of problematic prisoners on the island who have become protagonists of attacks, drug dealing and possession of mobile phones but despite everything they continue to remain in the institute and create disorder in the sections".
