Two illegal workers and other serious irregularities in a construction site in the Oristano area .
This emerged from checks carried out yesterday by personnel from the Cagliari-Oristano metropolitan area Labour Inspectorate.
The only two people present at the construction site, who were working, were found to be employed illegally, without a contract.
Furthermore, the sole proprietorship that owned the construction site had not prepared the Safety Operations Plan (POS), a mandatory document to ensure the protection of workers' health and safety .
In light of these violations, the business activity was immediately suspended and fines of 5 thousand euros were imposed : 2,500 for employing illegal workers and 2,500 for failure to draw up the POS.
