Tyrrhenian link, Sardinian countryside “gutted” for kilometers

The laying of the Tyrrhenian Link does not only concern the Sardinian sea.

From Terra Mala , to Quartu, the work to lay the high voltage direct current cable will also “gut” the countryside of Cagliari for about thirty kilometers , leaving behind the sea of the Golfo degli Angeli in the direction of Maracalagonis, then Sinnai, Settimo, Quartucciu, Selargius.

"All this - say the Committee that opposes the project and many residents of the affected areas - is worse than military easements."
