A double accident occurred overnight at Poetto Beach, with two cars overturning. The more serious of the two occurred near the D'Aquila beach resort: all five passengers in the vehicle, including the driver, were injured. They were transported by ambulance with critical conditions to the emergency rooms of Brotzu, Policlinico, and Santissima Trinità.
According to initial reconstructions, a second car may have been involved, but it fled immediately after the accident. A few kilometers further on, towards Quartu, another car had overturned shortly beforehand. Two young women were on board and taken to the emergency room with yellow code injuries.
In this case, according to the reconstruction, no other vehicles were involved. Emergency ambulances from 118 responded to Poetto to provide first aid, firefighters secured overturned vehicles, and local police conducted surveys.
