Drowned after suffering injuries that would have been fatal in the violent crash against the rocks.

This is the result of the autopsies on the remains of Tommy Di Chello and Giacomo Bot , the two victims of the motorboat accident on December 6th at Isola delle Bisce , in the archipelago of La Maddalena.

The examination was carried out by coroners Angela Seddaiu and Francesco Serra , appointed by the Prosecutor's Office of Tempio Pausania, which is investigating the incident, in the presence of party consultants, the coroners Francesco Lubinu, appointed by the lawyer Pietro Carzedda, for the Di Chello family, and Alberto Chighine, appointed by the lawyer Matteo Pinna, for the Bot family.

According to leaked rumors, drowning is considered the cause of death only because it occurs more quickly. But the two victims had such serious traumas that they would have caused their death anyway.

At the end of the autopsy, the bodies were returned to the family members for the funeral.

The last farewell to Di Chello will take place on Thursday 15 December in Golfo Aranci, where he lived.

Giacomo Bot's body will instead be transferred to Naples , where he resided.

As for the investigation, the Coast Guard, coordinated by the prosecutors of Tempio, continues its investigations to shed full light on the dynamics of the tragic impact.

The objective of the investigators is to fully reconstruct the dynamics and causes, as well as any responsibilities.

On board the motorboat, in addition to the two victims, were also Carlo Nieddu , also from Golfo Aranci, and another Campanian, Remo Bruno , son of the owner of the boat, both of whom were injured.
