Tragedy touched in San Vito: car swoops on parked cars and overturns, two women injured

Tragedy touched in the night in via Nazionale, in San Vito , where a village festival is in progress. A car driven by a 46-year-old woman from Castiadas crashed into two parked cars , overturning on the road.

Rescue was immediate with the arrival of the carabinieri from the radio-mobile unit of the Compagnia di San Vito and the local fire brigade.

On board the semi-destroyed car, two women: the 46-year-old from Castiadas driving and a minor . Both ended up in hospital: one at the Policlinico di Monserrato, the other at San Marcellino di Muravera.

The carabinieri, who act under the command of Major Massimo Meloni, commander of the Company of San Vito, are trying to reconstruct the dynamics of what happened.

It seems that no other means are involved: the driver alone would have lost control of the car over against the parked cars. The surveys continued until dawn with the removal of the vehicle.
