A thirty-eight-year-old from Bono, thrown from his horse, suffered serious injuries.

The man ended up under the animal and suffered severe crush injuries to his leg, pelvis, and arm.

118 responded to the Provincial Road 31, in the town area, to provide first aid: the concern was that there could be internal injuries.

After being stabilized at the scene of the accident, the thirty-eight-year-old was transported by air ambulance, in critical condition, to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari.
