Tragedy in Platamona: Man drowns in front of his daughter
The victim was 78 years old. Attempts to revive the man were unsuccessful.

A 78-year-old man drowned this morning at Lido di Platamona . He was at the beach with his daughter, who raised the alarm.
The Sassari 118 Central dispatched the Platamona basic ambulance and the Alghero air rescue to the scene.
The air ambulance doctor tried to revive the man but there was nothing they could do and he was pronounced dead.
