Tragedy in Lanusei: man dies in the courtyard overwhelmed by a pile of wood

Tragedy in Lanusei . A man died after being hit by a pile of wood he was helping to arrange in the yard of a neighbor.

The victim is a 65-year-old, Lorenzo Cugusi : the accident took place in via Tortolì around 6pm this afternoon.

The 118 doctors and firefighters arrived immediately. The firefighters freed the man from the load of wood, then the doctors tried to revive the 65-year-old for a long time, without however being able to save his life .

The carabinieri of the Ogliastra village company were also on site.
