A necessary measure to carry out a series of investigations, to understand if all the safety measures had been adopted at the time of the tragedy.
While awaiting the autopsy on the young man's body, investigators try to shed light on any responsibility for the incident.
In particular, the carabinieri of Sorso and the inspectors of the Spresal investigate the use of personal protective equipment, such as helmets and gloves, and all the elements necessary for the performance of that specific task, including the specific training courses required to be able to provide that type. of activity. Salvatore Piras was overwhelmed by a pile of frames stacked and leaning against the wall of the building warehouse.
The incident occurred while the elements of the scaffolding were moved from the ground to be loaded onto the van on which the colleague worked. In an instant the boy was overwhelmed by the weight of a series of frames that threw him against the door of the vehicle. A fatal blow. There was nothing for him to do. The autopsy examination will serve to clarify the true cause of death, a tragedy recorded by the video surveillance cameras present on the spot.
