Maria Reimann was 41 years old, she was on vacation in Sardinia but the sea of Is Arenas betrayed her and the woman drowned. Her family, who live in Poland, faces this moment of great pain with great desperation and clings to a hope: «We would like to speak to the boy who tried to save her» .

The tragedy occurred last Thursday. The woman, who knew the area, is with a group of friends. They decide to swim even if the sea is rough. In a few moments she is carried off by the current, she is unable to return to shore, a friend who was with her loses sight of her. The swimmers notice that he is in trouble and sound the alarm. Among the many who come to her rescue there is also a young surfer: he throws himself into the water and tries to reach her. He manages to hoist it on the table and bring it back to shore. Attempts at resuscitation prove useless, Maria can't make it.

There is dismay on the beach, the tourist's friends are desperate. They find the strength to call the woman's parents in Warsaw to explain what has happened.

«Maria – says the family – was an excellent swimmer, and was aware of the risks of the sea, she would never have challenged the marine weather conditions in an unconscious way. We don't know what really happened, but we would like to know the boy who tried to help her." The woman's mother, in particular, has a desire to know if Maria said anything, what were her last words.

The body of the 41-year-old will be cremated, by decision of the parents, and will finally return home to Poland. Where there is also his son, who is only 15 years old.
