The new urban road system of Tortolì came into force today. Three one-way streets were established: viale Pirastu, via Garibaldi and the initial stretch of via Vittorio Emanuele, between via Seminario and via Umberto. Although the innovation had been widely announced for some time, many road users were left lost in front of the new signs.

From now on, Viale Pirastu is only accessible towards Piazza Fra Locci. To exit and reach the junctions for the Orientale and the 198, you need to go through Via Scorcu and at the intersection turn left towards the Viale Pirastu roundabout.

Users arriving from via Garibaldi can continue towards the Municipality (the directions for via Foddeddu and via delle Lavandaie remain unchanged) with the obligation to turn right towards Corso Umberto. The entire Via Umberto, from Piazza Fra Locci towards the Corso, is also one-way.

Single-lane traffic also on Via Vittorio Emanuele, from where there will no longer be an exit towards Via Umberto.
