As part of the fight against illegal trade , the local Police of Tortolì is expanding its car fleet. Through a loan from the Ministry of the Interior, reserved for coastal municipalities, the command led by Marta Meloni has identified the destination of resources in the purchase of a new vehicle .

Last August, the Municipality submitted to the Prefecture of Nuoro an application for access to the contribution of 35 thousand euros, accompanied by a project sheet in which a series of useful measures for the activity were indicated. The commander has identified the most urgent interventions and investments to be provided with the available sums, including the purchase of a vehicle to be dedicated to the services of contrasting commercial illegal activities along the 17 kilometers of coastline, between the beach of the Capannina and Cea.

At the end of a market investigation, the entity concluded negotiations with a concessionaire in Cagliari (the only one of the four businesses involved to have submitted an economic offer) for the purchase of a Fiat Panda Cross .
