"The entire amount of the fee envisaged for the venue chosen by the bride and groom for the celebration of civil marriage and for the establishment of civil unions - reads the resolution - must be paid in advance to the municipal treasurer at the time of reserving the hall, otherwise civil marriage or the formation of civil unions will not take place".
The rates for non-residents are 1,000 euros for opening to the public without exclusive use, 1,500 euros for opening to the public with exclusive use for 30 minutes and 2 thousand euros for opening to the public with exclusive use for one hour . For residents the rates are reduced by half.
"Should the marriage not take place due to voluntary renunciation or other reasons - the resolution continues -, this administration will treat 50% of the fee paid for the use of the chosen venues for the celebration of civil marriage and for the constitution of unions civilians". The preventive clearance of the Archaeological Superintendency is required.
