Tick alert at Monte Urpinu. Reports of a presumed infestation have multiplied in recent weeks and, according to the testimonies of frequenters of the Cagliari hill, they have also been delivered to the Urp of the Municipality.

Ticks have been found in the fur of some dogs that frequent the area reserved for animals. But not only that.

"I've caught them in the area where the children go to play," says a resident of the area, "one this week and another last week. It seems obvious to me," she reflects, "that it's not an isolated case but that there's some sort of invasion in Monte Urpinu. But if this is my belief, and I've also spoken with others who have had the same experience, someone from the Municipality should go and ascertain the facts. And if necessary, as it seems, intervene."
