A life-threatening three-month-old child from Ogliastra was transported on an urgent flight to Genoa.

The transfer was carried out with a Falcon 900 of the thirty-first wing of the Italian Air Force which took off at 3 pm today from Elmas airport.

The doctors of the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari, having found the complex clinical picture of the little patient, requested emergency transport to the Gaslini children's hospital.

The life-saving flight was arranged and coordinated by the top situation room of the command of the Air Force, the operations room of the Air Force which also has among its tasks that of activating and managing urgent medical transport.
