The mayor of Sennori, Nicola Sassu, sent a letter to the management of the socio-health area of the Assl of Sassari claiming the lack of general practitioners in the town and asking that the new pediatrician be appointed as soon as possible to replace the current doctor, now close to retirement, so that the Sennorese children are guaranteed continuity of health care.

"In less than a month the only pediatrician who works in our municipality, Dr. Augusto Puggioni, will retire and there is no news about his replacement", explains the mayor. “Furthermore, in relation to the resident population, Sennori already suffers from the lack of a general practitioner; A solution has been requested several times in this regard, but so far no concrete response has been received on this problem, which in addition to being experienced by citizens as a denied right, is creating many difficulties for users, especially older people who need more health care and who have less possibilities and ease in moving ".
