Areus (Regional emergency emergency company) is trying to take action: four years after the last courses , training for doctors who want to dedicate themselves to local emergencies starts again. There are 60 places available. So far, registrations have only covered 35%, not even half. The hope, at the top levels of the Region, is that (many) other professionals will join by October 25th - the deadline for the announcement. And it makes it attractive: "an incentive equal to double the cost supported for the training course (set at two thousand euros) will be recognized", we read in a note.
The advanced 118 stations, Areus explain, " need to be strengthened in terms of professionals: in particular, the availability of local emergency doctors in the areas furthest from the main urban centers of Cagliari and Sassari is urgent." For this reason the Company «has started the recruitment of 60 doctors through a tender. The course", it is underlined, "will have a total duration of 360 hours: 30 of theory, 106 of exercises and 224 of training to be carried out at the facilities of the regional health system: 118 call centre, advanced emergency vehicle, emergency room (ordinary and pediatric), obstetrics/gynecology, cardiology, anesthesia and resuscitation".
Doctors assigned to the continuity of care services of the Local Health Authorities of the Region according to their seniority of appointment, doctors resident in Sardinia included in the regional ranking, doctors in possession of a training certificate in General Medicine not registered in the regional ranking and, as a residual share, doctors not in possession of the MG training certificate and not registered in the ranking.
For Areus «this is an unmissable opportunity for those who want to work in emergency emergencies on advanced ambulances or for air ambulances and obtain the BLSD, PBLSD, ALS, EPASL, basic PTC, advanced PTC, clinical ultrasound in emergency certifications. urgency, Maxi emergencies".
