A stolen item worth 15,000 euros was recovered by the Sassari Flying Squad.

The theft took place on 18 March on the beach in Aglientu . Victims, some Swiss tourists who, after a few hours spent at the beach, found their car burgled.

The modus operandi of thieves is now tried and true: they wait for the victims to move away from the parked cars, then break open the doors or smash the windows.

In this case, the tourists were robbed of various electronic equipment, including computers, iPads, Nintendo consoles, cameras, clothing, watches, Apple Watches and more, for an economic value of over 15,000 euros. The group was made up of journalists who had archived the entire scientific work carried out in almost a year of stay in Sardinia.

The agents of the Flying Squad immediately started the investigation and geolocated some of the devices, identified in Sassari . They then reconstructed the route taken by the criminals, who moved from the beaches of Aglientu to the industrial area of Sassari, along streets where there are several mobile phone repair shops.

The investigative hypothesis followed was that thieves or fences attempted to force access keys to electronic devices in shops, thus allowing geolocation.

Having sifted through all the places to hide the stolen goods, they identified the alleged thieves.
