Nicolò Farci is 18 years old and is the youngest municipal councilor ever elected in Assemini. Candidate in mayor Mario Puddu's civic list, he obtained 158 votes: on Friday he will make his debut in the council chamber with the task of presiding over the proceedings until the appointment of the prime minister. But first he has to attend to a matter of no small importance: the final exam.

A few weeks ago he got his driving licence. In an interview that will be published in L'Unione Sarda on newsstands tomorrow and in the digital edition, he tells how his passion for politics, his ideals, his goals were born.

With one hope: that his experience will serve as an example to other kids because, he says, the barriers between politics and young people must be broken down.
