The Veiled Christ, modeled by the hands of an artist, a sculpture that on the Sorso coast exudes the pain of one who has suffered. Not a film nor a statue that on this Easter day represented the religious rite of S'Incontru.

It is the artistic work created on the beach of Platamona by the sculptor Nicola Urru who wishes a happy Resurrection Easter. Hope is grasped by observing the Veiled Christ on the sand, a reproduction of the marble statue.

He is lying with his knees contracted, hollowed out by fatigue and pain, his head raised and his eyes half closed.

«If you look carefully at the marble original, you will see tears trembling on his eyelids – explains the artist – in this sculpture there is all the suffering of the humiliated, offended, beaten and pierced man.» A sculpture representing a suffering man ready to awaken. «The Veiled Christ contains a message of hope and redemption, it is the symbol of the rebirth to which the soul, after having traveled a path of suffering, symbolized by the cross, can aspire».
