The airport vaccination center is closed and the doors of the public hygiene service of the former San Giovanni di Dio hospital in Olbia are also barred (at least today). Making the fourth dose, or another booster, of the anti Covid vaccine in the Gallura city is currently impossible .

This was discovered yesterday by some people who went to the center which had been set up by the ASL in the premises adjacent to the airport after the closure of the maxi hub which had managed the emergency very well by administering tens of thousands of vaccines even during the 2021 summer season. The new centre, smaller but adapted to the flow of the moment, which worked until a few days ago, even without reservations, was deserted.

But even the move, as indicated, to San Giovanni di Dio did not help to obtain the vaccine . Doors closed to Public Hygiene and no indication of when it will be possible to make the recall. On the other hand, the online booking system indicates the Tempio clinic as the only possibility on the date of 9 January.

Apparently the problem is related to organics . With the closure of the Usca there is no longer any staff for the dedicated centres. The competence thus passed to the Public Hygiene Service which, however, has to deal with a chronic inadequacy of staff and is also in difficulty in ensuring compulsory childhood and anti-flu vaccinations. At the moment it is therefore not known when it will be possible to complete the anti-Covid recalls.
