Jacopo Barbarossa would have turned 18 in August, the young man from Cagliari (with residence in via Della Pineta) who died yesterday evening while aboard a Honda driven by a friend , Nicola Palmas, also residing in Cagliari, was traveling along the provincial road 17, towards Villasimius .

The same Honda after passing a car continued its journey, suddenly ending up on the guard rail: a very violent collision. Jacopo, who was traveling in the back seat of the Honda, ended up heavily on the ground and was killed instantly. Nicola Palmas, who turned 18 last April, was instead rescued and accompanied to the Monserrato Polyclinic aboard a 118 ambulance. The young man is hospitalized: his life would not be in danger.

The Muravera traffic police have collected some testimonies that could help clarify the dynamics of the accident. The two boys were headed towards Capitana: with them it seems some friends who were also on motorbikes: at 7 pm, at street number 266, the Honda leaped onto the guard rail. The judge of the Prosecutor of the Republic of Cagliari has already provided for the return of the body for the funeral. Provincial road 17 once again proves to be extremely insidious as well as super busy: just two months ago it was a former carabiniere from Quartu who died near Margine Rosso after his scooter crashed into a car.
