The Radicals: «Tomaso Cocco transferred to Sicily without reason, the guarantor of the prisoners intervenes»
Head doctor arrested in the Monte Nuovo investigation, Turco: «Incomprehensible decision»Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
«We understand that the reasons why Doctor Tomaso Cocco was transferred from a Sardinian penitentiary to a Sicilian one are known only to those who took this measure. This is to say that, precisely because the reasons for Cocco's deportation from Sardinia to Sicily are not known, we must first of all consider the transfer incomprehensible and unmotivated."
These are the words of the secretary of the Radical Party Maurizio Turco, on the decision that sent the doctor arrested as part of the Monte Nuovo investigation, conducted by the DDA of Cagliari, to prison in Sicily.
«Since we have just dealt with the case of Beniamino Zuncheddu we want to avoid having to talk about a Tomaso Cocco case», adds Turco, «we therefore ask the National Guarantor for prisoners to follow the case precisely due to the particularity of the provision. Hoping that it is just a case and not a consolidated procedure."
