It will be a "spring" Christmas that awaits Sardinia, with maximum temperatures expected around 18-20 degrees and the wind of the last few hours destined to die down. The climate will remain mild until at least December 28th, after which a new decline is expected.

In these days, in parallel with the increase in maximum temperatures, the minimum temperatures will drop, but always above the seasonal averages, and in a few cases they will drop below ten degrees. Even at 1500 metres, between the 24th and 28th, the maximum will exceed 12 degrees , and therefore the fall of snowflakes must be excluded even at high altitudes, where it is unlikely to go below 2.

«The mistral», explain the Air Force meteorologists at the Decimomannu base, « will begin to fall on the morning of the 24th and then become very light . The phenomenon of recent days is caused by the advance of the Azores anticyclone pushing from the west and the resistance of a deep depression area".
