The eleventh hearing of the closed-door trial in Tempio Pausania for gang sexual assault against Ciro Grillo , son of di Beppe, and three of his Genoese friends, Edoardo Capitta, Francesco Corsiglia and Vittorio Lauria.

One of the defense pool lawyers, Gennario Velle, asked the court to wait for the CSM's decision on judge Nicola Bonante before continuing with the hearing.

Bonante was transferred to Bari in the past few days. The new side judge is Alessandro Cossu : former single judge of the Sassari court, Cossu has been integrated into the judging panel presided over by Marco Contu.

The facts alleged against the four defendants date back to the night between 16 and 17 July 2019: according to the indictment , they allegedly raped an Italian-Norwegian student, after an evening spent at the disco, in the Porto Cervo villa of the Grillo family .
