The flames give no respite: we fight against the fire in Berchidda and Setzu, helicopters in action

Another day of fire in Sardinia, with the regional firefighting teams busy putting out the fires. From Sanluri to Berchidda, passing through Setzu, a fight against the flames that give no respite .

In the countryside of Berchidda, the alarm went off in Su Muru Fossu just before 2 pm, in an area rich in vegetation where the flames have licked the land and also some commercial activities in the area. A forestry helicopter also operates in the area, the Berchidda Forestry team coordinates operations and the fire brigade command unit arrived on site from Sassari.

In the countryside of Setzu, in the Baccu Lioni area, in addition to numerous ground teams, two helicopters and a Canadair are also in action to prevent the flames from reaching the Giara plateau . In action also volunteers, the operations are coordinated by the Forestry Corps.
