Booty of twenty thousand euros for the two masked robbers who last night attacked the branch of the financial agency Compass in Sassari in viale Italia.
Around 3 in the morning the criminals broke through the shop window in the center with a car , an Alfa Romeo Giulietta, and then escaped, taking away the safe which contained thousands of euros in cash.
The car, as it emerged from the subsequent investigations, had been stolen in the area.
This morning the investigators found it charred in one of the bends of Scala di Giocca, the steep road that leads to the Carlo Felice state road.
The carabinieri of the Compagnia di Sassari are investigating with the help of the images recorded by the numerous video surveillance cameras in the area.
