Urgent actions and interventions to be implemented for the Einstein Telescope project at Sos Enattos. They were asked by Fausto Durante, secretary of the CGIL Sardinia, after the establishment of the Technical-Scientific Committee chaired by Nobel Prize winner Giorgio Parisi . "Even the Region - explains Durante - can and must do its part by setting up a Sardinian support committee involving social forces, businesses, and the best resources of the academic world and scientific research".

"The Sos Enattos area - he adds - must immediately be placed at the center of an infrastructural endowment work, from road and rail connections to those of broadband and 5G connections, essential endowment to overcome competition from the Limburg Euroregion, also a candidate to host the Einstein telescope». That region, recalls the secretary, "is served by one of the most important airports in Europe, that of Schipol, in Amsterdam, with frequent flights from all over the world and easily reachable from Limburg on roads that allow the rapid and safe transit of people and goods, including the exceptional vehicles that will be needed to transport what will be necessary to build the telescope: "However, if one thinks of the current situation of air connections and structures for internal mobility in Sardinia, there is it is undoubtedly a great preventive work to start.

Getting to work immediately is the priority for the CGIL, starting with the endowment of tangible and intangible infrastructures which is precisely one of the decisive elements for the final choice on the location of the Einstein telescope. «On these aspects, as on all the questions concerning a project that could really open a new page in the industrial history of Sardinia - concludes the secretary - the regional CGIL has long ago announced its willingness to do its part within the wider involvement of the whole Sardinian community, a will that we confirm today, with the hope of unifying the energies and wills of the whole island in this enterprise».
