The notice for the recruitment of general practitioners, paediatricians of free choice and continuity of care doctors has been published these days by the Sassari local health authority, also aimed at those in retirement, as well as medical managers employed by the regional health system and doctors surgeons enrolled in the professional register to establish the Ascot, extraordinary outpatient clinics of the welfare community.

An initiative to try to provide a solution to the shortage of doctors and paediatricians in the area.

The project of the Asl of Sassari provides for the establishment of clinics in the premises of the Health Authority or of the municipal administrations, with the aim of guaranteeing continuity of care to citizens without a doctor or pediatrician. The doctors assigned to the Ascot will be able to request medical services, outpatient and home visits, the renewal of therapeutic plans, but also start the procedures for the inclusion of patients in the ADI, scheduled home activities, scheduled supplementary services, certificates of illness.

There are 19 territorial areas where doctors, on the basis of the ranking, can be diverted: 9 in the District of Sassari, 7 in that of Alghero and 3 in that of Ozieri.

Interested doctors will have until 24 July 2023 to send their candidacy by certified e-mail to: direzione.sanitaria@pec.aslsassari.it.

The notice, concludes the ASL, will in any case remain open to allow participation in the project, and the rankings will be updated periodically.
