Soldi married Maria Cinus, now 79, 61 years ago: a happy marriage with four children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Corporal during and after the Second World War, boasts a truly extraordinary curriculum: he was also the protagonist of a firefight with the Sicilian bandit Salvatore Giuliano . After his military life, Attilio Soldi returned to Sinnai in 1946.

He worked as a bricklayer in Carbonia, in Genuri he worked in the construction of the church, in Tuili and Setzu in the construction of the schools.
“In 1958 - recalls the centenary - I bought the first Cipriani 400-liter cement mixer with an oil engine. Many bricklayers and contractors, who no longer exist today, had the cement mixer on free loan to carry out their works. I have also built many Sardinian ovens: many are still working ".

In all this he also found time for sport. Footballer, Sinnai midfielder , boxer, expert swimmer and hunting enthusiast. Today he retains an excellent memory, a good appetite and a great desire to live.
