Terramaini, school closed due to rats: classes suspended until September 28th
The measure taken by the mayor of Cagliari is immediate, regulating the activity at the headquarters on Via Ciusa.

The Terramaini branch of the "Pietro Martini" technical and economic institute was closed due to rats.
With ordinance number 84/2026, the mayor of Cagliari ordered a temporary closure effective immediately and until September 28, unless extended.
The pest control operations have been scheduled by the Cagliari Metropolitan City Insect Control Center. The school will remain closed until September 28th, after which the results of the interventions will be verified and the necessary conditions for reopening will be met. Before classes resume , the affected areas will also need to be ventilated and cleaned.
The actual date of resumption of lessons at the Terramaini site—the ordinance states—will be communicated in a subsequent notice, following the outcome of the required checks.
Classes at the Via Ciusa location, however, will continue as usual.
