Tension on the high seas around the coasts of Sardinia, the island's fishermen: "Sicilian boats operate in prohibited areas and conditions"

High voltage at sea, around the Sardinian coasts, between fishermen from Cagliari and other island marines and Sicilian trawlers from Mazara del Vallo accused of casting their nets in prohibited areas and fishing even on prohibited days such as Fridays and Saturdays is Sunday.

The Sardinian fishing boat owners' association, through the director Renato Murgia, sent a request for urgent intervention to the Harbor Office and the Prefecture: "We ask for your immediate intervention to restore legality and avert dreadful social tensions between navies, considering that clashes and arguments between the captains of various boats”.
