Tempio: farewell to Alessandro Achenza, actor and soul of the carnival

Citizen mourning tomorrow in Tempio for the last farewell to the actor Alessandro Achenza . Known to the Sardinian public as artistic director and animator of the Tempio Carnival, Achenza passed away after a long illness .

Having gained his first theatrical experiences in Cagliari during his university studies, he founded his own company, the Contenitore delle Arti. In 2012 he began collaborating with the Municipality of Tempio for the Carnival. Alessandro Achenza had also starred in “Coppia Aperta Quasi Gaperata”, by Dario Fò and Franca Rame. Tempio will pay homage to Achenza starting at 12 in the Carmine theatre . The funeral will be celebrated in the cathedral of the Gallura town starting at 5pm. Alessandro Achenza was born in Tempio and was 57 years old.
