Lollas, the initiative that takes visitors on a tour of the Campidano houses in the historic center, has been a huge success in Quartu. Thousands of people have ventured into the ancient domus, enjoying music, tastings, shows, and workshops.

From Casa Pippia-Stocchino to Casa Pusceddu, from Casa Murgia-Casanova to Casa Carboni Congiu, passing through Sa dom'e Farra and the former Capuchin convent, there is a great celebration among the courtyards, the rooms that overlook the loggias and the warehouses full of the tools of peasant life of the past.

This morning, while we wait for the houses to open in the afternoon, the heart of the celebration is Sa dom'e Farra, with homemade dessert workshops, the Campagna Amica market, and a concert by the L'Altalena orchestra. The domus are a true journey into the past, amid ancient customs and traditions, with the hosts transformed into expert guides, explaining the history and mysteries of their homes. At Casa Pippia, the women welcome guests dressed like the landladies of old and offer cooked broad beans with lard, which were enjoyed upon returning from the fields.

At Casa Murgia Casanova, fregola and malloreddus (a type of pasta) are being prepared, while Casa Pusceddu is the hub of children's shows and Casa Carboni Congiu hosts traditional dances. Lollas is a more than positive year, including a packed train, and we look forward to seeing you next year.
