Mayors on the front lines governing their municipalities, sometimes at risk of assaults or attacks that put their lives in danger. This is the topic at the heart of the initiative promoted by the Municipality of Cossoine, which last Friday hosted the conference "Administering Without Fear. Intimidation Cannot Govern Our Towns."

Speakers included Daniela Falconi, president of ANCI Sardinia; mayors Giuseppe Mellino, Michele Solinas, Manuela Pintus, and Emiliano Deiana; and Antonio Brundu, who moderated the discussion. Local administrators from many towns across Sardinia, along with children and young people, participated in the workshop on legality and civic duty.

A meeting to say one simple thing: that no municipal administrator or employee should feel alone. Intimidation doesn't affect one person; it affects an entire country.

The answer lies in the support of people, the support of institutions, and the courage to continue working for the common good. The initiative was made possible thanks to the contribution of the Sardinia Region and the collaboration of the CorosLab and Prendas de Oro associations.
