The State Police arrested a 35-year-old man of Moroccan origin for the crime of aggravated theft.

The man was surprised by a passerby in Monserrato , while he was intent on rummaging inside a parked car, with the window broken. After the 113 alarm, the agents intervened on the spot, at the sight of which the 35-year-old fled.

But the passerby and the owner of the car ran after him, until the police arrived and finally blocked him.

From checking the cars parked nearby, the officers discovered that a second car also had a broken window and the owner confirmed that some personal effects were missing from the passenger compartment.

After being identified, the 35-year-old, already known to the police, was brought before the judicial authority. The investigating judge thus validated the arrest and ordered the precautionary measure of the obligation to submit to the judicial police for six months.
