Funding for hundreds of thousands of euros distributed to numerous Sardinian and peninsular associations by the Conservatory of the Coasts of Sardinia between 2020 and 2024.
These are the elements that ended up at the center of an investigation by the Guardia di Finanza, following a complaint filed in recent months by the extraordinary commissioner, now executive director, Maria Elena Dessì, who took over the leadership of the regional agency on November 11 after the departure of the former operations director Giovanni Piero Sanna (better known as Gianpiero Sanna), appointed in January 2020 by the then governor Christian Solinas.
The investigation would concern both the allocation of funds with direct economic assignment (all just under 40 thousand euros), but above all the verification of the activities of various non-profit organizations to verify who set them up and what they actually did with the money received: there would be locations, connections and relationships that are repeated among themselves.
