Stadium issue: closer understanding between Solinas and FdI, a program agreement appears with the Municipality of Cagliari

Night of negotiations on the new stadium and not only between Christian Solinas and the Brothers of Italy. In the end , the parties reached a draft agreement which will be discussed at 12.30 in a conference of group leaders. The amendment with the fifty million to cover what is missing for the construction of the plant will be there and could be signed by all the presidents of the majority groups.

The text should refer to a program agreement between the Region and the Municipality of Cagliari for the construction of the new stadium in time to host the European Championships in 2032, but also for the construction of other works. Among these: the new city hospital.

The funds allocated for financial coverage would amount to fifty million. The parties would still be finalizing the text of the amendment. If an agreement is reached, it will be discussed tonight in the Chamber before the definitive go-ahead for the 2023 regional budget.
