No improvisation. Nor simple exhibitionistic spirit. Alessandra Curreli and Simona Lecca are the two from Cagliari who in recent days have been filmed in a video while, covered only in skimpy shorts and a bra, they faced a walk in the snow of Monte Spada, at two degrees below zero.

The images have aroused criticism and curiosity. Which do not undermine their conviction: «Cold is good for you. It allows the brain to release substances that give sensations similar to those experienced by drug addicts. But without the drugs» , explains Lecca, 42, an employee of a computer engineering company. He has adopted the Wim Hof method, from the name of the Dutchman who has made a lifestyle of living with the cold. However, Lecca warns: no improvisation. “I practice yoga. I'm an instructor. To face the cold and feel well-being, as well as being convinced that it's good for you, you need to perform breathing exercises. Then approach it with cold showers every day». And follow the advice of experts. Otherwise, as someone wrote, "it doesn't take much to end up hospitalized with pneumonia".
