Snow from Gennargentu to Limbara: Sardinia in deep freeze

It's snowing in Sardinia. From Gennargentu to Limbara, flakes are falling heavily.

Snow from Fonni (including in the town) to Vallicciola, Gallura, at 1,050 meters, passing through Barbagia (Sadali and Tonara). The precipitation, expected in the next few hours, is possible down to hillsides.

A predicted drop in temperatures, which also led to the issuing of a weather alert by the Civil Protection: unstable conditions will persist until Saturday morning.

The lowest temperature recorded last night by the ARPAS monitoring network came from Gavoi: -3.3 degrees.

According to the forecast, tomorrow will be "cloudy with precipitation, including showers or thunderstorms, with generally light cumulative precipitation. Precipitation will be snow from 600 meters upwards until the morning. The weather will ease in the afternoon."
