Skeleton in the mountains in Fluminimaggiore, the hypothesis: they are the remains of Massimo Frau

Moments of apprehension in Fluminimaggiore after the discovery of a skeleton in the mountains, not far from the town.

The alarm was given by some hunters who, during a hunt, noticed the poor remains of a person, half hidden by the vegetation, in the Sa Carrubba area.

In a short time the carabinieri of the local station arrived on the spot followed by Iglesias' colleagues. One of the hypotheses, but obviously only the analyzes on the remains found can tell, is that it could be Massimo Frau, the 52-year-old who disappeared on 2 January 2022 from his home in Fluminimaggiore. The searches had gone on for months but unfortunately without success.

Mayor Marco Corrias has already canceled the shingles scheduled for tomorrow night.
